Responsibilities:
- Define and execute on growth strategy for Technology services at key Energy clients, supported by and aligned with Accenture's overall strategy
- Further grow, develop, manage and foster our Technology practice for key Energy clients headquarters in Norway
- Be a key member of our Account leadership team focused on delivering emerging technology services as an integrated part of a wider service portfolio at the client
- Keep up to speed with emerging technologies and changes in the market to develop points of views on applicability for key clients and relevant to the Energy industry
- Define and shape outcome based technology deals in the interface between business and IT, with high and articulated client value.
- Collaborating with success across the ecosystem of technology service providers
- Contribute to drive continuous business value at our clients through a series of technology driven transformations and levers of change – integrated with dependent operating model components like strategy, organization and talent
- Interact with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves influencing on significant matters
- Decisions have a lasting impact on the area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside the area of responsibility
- Manage large teams and/or work efforts at client and/or deal pursuits.
Capabilities
- Ability to set the strategic direction to establish near-term and long-term goals for area of responsibility
- Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches
- Strong relationship building skill
- Understanding how to align business and IT, integrating application, infrastructure, data and security
- Understanding how to apply cloud technology and services to transform IT services and products to better align with business needs
- Thorough understanding of how to drive continuous and optimized value from applying agile principles in value identification, technology development and deployment
- Cloud expertise and execution experience
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Strong presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with business, technical, architectural, and executive audiences
- Excellent communication (Norwegian and English written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership and management skills
Qualifications
- Proven ability to grow, develop, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
- Extensive experience within new and emerging technologies
- Extensive IT Consulting/Management experience with demonstrated IT Transformation experience in customer-facing roles and experience working closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into roadmaps and projects
- Computer Science, Engineering and/or MBA background
- Technology savvy profile with good instincts around what is of strategic importance in a given business context and a strong understanding of Accenture’s and our clients’ business through a technology lens
- Well-established network in the local market, preferably within the Energy sector
- Track-record of executing similar role with proven results
