Job description :

  1.  Finance Manager will be in charge of three functions (i) Finance & Accounting, (ii) Costing &  Budgeting and  Warehouse & Inventory.
  2.  Finance Manager is a key player within the above three functions and will work alongside CFO, Project  Management and Managing Director. 
  3.  He/she is responsible for controlling the financial accounting, reporting, and analysis. x Develop, prepare, analyze and update on the project cost, inventory valuation, cash flow projection and  business plan and analysis. 
  4.  Closely monitor the expenditures of each department, comparing variances from budgeting to actual  spending andcross-checkingg to each department's activities and set of objectives. 
  5. Analyze discrepancies by work package between Budget and Actuals and provide analysis on the  project's margin and expenditures evolution. x Alert as soon as possible to the top management from significant variances on construction projects  (quantity, costs, actuals or budgeting, deviation of initial objectives, the progress of construction and  productions, and other unusual events occurred in the project construction site and factory). 
  6. Produce bi-monthly reports on project monitory and review by comparing progress of construction to  cost and activities, and follow relevant KPIs to proactively identify and manage financial risks. 
  7. Produce monthly inventory reports of precast elements produced for accounting to register inventory into company raw materials. 
  8. Arrange for cost construction reports to be prepared and submitted at regular intervals including the estimated final cost of each project construction unit. x Work closely with the accounting team as well as the project management, the construction and the procurement team to report and provide feedback on the project status.
  9.  x Develop and update policies, procedures and manual  for Accounting & Finance, Costing & Budgeting,  and Warehouse & Inventory. 
  10.  Contribute to longer-term development of the three functions by continuously improving process and  documentation. 
  11. Ensure that all the three functions under control are operating effectively and efficiently.
  12. Other duties as assigned by management. 

Qualification & Requirement :

The finance Manager should possess the following qualifications: 

  1. Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, and Related field. o Qualification in or pursuing CA/CPA/ACCA, MBA/PDGM. 
  2. Qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent recognized. technical qualification is an advantage. 
  3. o Minimum 3 years of working experiences in management role in the related field. o 2-5 years similar position in estimating commercial and residential construction project is  advantage. 
  4. Knowledge and experience in ERP or other ERP software is a plus. 
  5. At ease with databases and very good knowledge in Excel, and Presentation, and Reporting. 
  6. Advanced time management skills including the ability to program and schedule the time of  others. 
  7. Intermediate organizational skills with the ability to implement system and procedures to ensure  efficient and transparent tendering process, costing and budgeting. 
  8.  tendering value, cost, quality, term and conditions, variances and analysis.
  9.  Advanced written and spoken communication skills with the ability to write contractual letters,  financial documentations and proposal. 
  10. Patient, reliable and dedicated to working independently with minimum support from  management. 
  11. Able to work as a team within internal, external team members and across the functions in the  company.
