What will you do?

• Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
• Design, develop and support highly complex application components and integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms
• Engage with other project personnel to ensure business application systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices
• Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
• Exercise judgment and independence in identifying next steps
• Provide programming expertise, usually as a member of a project team, in the analysis, design, and development of SAP reports, interfaces, conversions, business forms, and user exits
• Write new and modify existing data sources, infosets and queries
• Develop and support interfaces to numerous legacy and third-party systems using a variety of techniques such as LSMW, BAPI, IDOC, RFC calls, BDC, and call transaction update methods
• Perform program performance optimization and tuning where necessary
• Research and apply OSS notes and utilize advance debug techniques
• Write detailed technical documentation of program functions and provide and support user training where appropriate
• Follow the IT Software Development Life Cycle process
• Actively participate in Major Incident Management (MIM) calls, Root cause analysis and Post-Mortem Reviews

How will you get here?

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• SAP ABAP Certification is beneficial

Experience

• 8+ of SAP ABAP experience on projects and support with at least 1 year on S4HANA
• Experience with requirements gathering, effort estimation, impact analysis and supporting project/delivery management with creating delivery plans
• Team leading experience
• Experience in SAP system upgrades and migrations including custom code migration and SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit
• In depth knowledge and proven ability utilizing BADI’s, BAPI’s, LSMW, ALE, RFC calls, IDOC, BDC, business objects, classes and methods, Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Data Dictionary, ALV, Workflows.
• Extensive experience in developing with Web services, Consumer Proxy, Inbound and outbound IDOC Interfaces.
• Knowledge and experience on SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture, Data Modelling using HANA Studio, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA, Native SQL, Odata services, Data Base Procedures.
• Experience in building end to end custom Fiori applications, Cloud Connectors, UI5 (SAP Development Tools (WebIDE, Eclipse, Other SDKs)

Tool & Technology Skills

• Possess a solid understanding of SAP technical architecture, infrastructure and ABAP development, including, testing, administration.
• Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high pressure environment with changing priorities
