Responsibilities:

• Supports Software Architect to develop and maintain architectural direction and standards, incorporating emerging technologies and techniques
• Develops architecture specifications and scaffolding, performs design and code reviews, and leads/mentors software engineers
• Develops code assets, including prototypes, software architecture components, starter-kits, client solutions, and micro services
• Designs, builds and maintains efficient, reusable, and reliable code in Java and related frameworks.
• Creates custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core Angular 2+
• Designs and develops software applications using HTML 5(Bootstrap); Angular2+, Docker, JavaScript; XML; CSS; Rest Services; Spring Boot; and Hibernate
• Resolves production support issues, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, debugging, configuration, and testing
• Works with software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and resulting software works as intended
• Implements containerization technology strategies using Docker and Kubernetes
• Works on building, scaling, and monitoring various highly complex applications, and making container orchestration cluster highly available
• Builds and sets up new development tools and infrastructure
• Selects and deploys appropriate CI/CD tools to automate and improve development and release processes
• Provides post implementation support to ensure smooth transition to production of all services released for production
• Interfaces with the business, technical staff and vendors to shape requirements and direction of technology and support project related activities.
