Job Description

Syspex is a fast growing and largest packaging and warehousing solution provider in South-east Asia with regional distribution operations. We are looking for a Business Development Manager (Sustainable Packaging), who has a passionate and driven personality and is prepared to lead strategic business growth and drive transformational change in the sustainable and eco-friendly packaging era. Syspex is dedicated to becoming a super-efficient industrial B2B solutions provider in this aspect.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve sales targets by successfully managing the sales team including coaching, objective setting and performance monitoring.
  • Design and implement the strategic business plan(s) to maximize product success.
  • Lead and motivate sales team to build strong & long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Prepare and present sales budget, revenue and expenses reports and updated forecasts for management review.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Manage & coach the sales team for complete end-to-end sales process with sales team, including prospecting, pitching and negotiating.
  • Successful past track record in high level selling, closing sales deals and key accounts.
  • Proactively Identify and source for new business opportunities and develop new and existing customer
  • Develop, determine and responsible for team sales strategy and target
  • Compile and analyze sales figures, product data and develop necessary action plans

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering / Business Management or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of industrial sales experience in packaging
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in leading a team in sales function
  • Independent and Sales & result oriented person
  • Highly self-motivated, desire to acquire new knowledge, good initiative and with positive working attitude
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good customer relationship management skills
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal and presentation skills
  • A team player, able to blend in with any groups and work successfully as part of a team
  • Leadership – able to organize and bring team members to work together
  • Proficient in Microsoft Words, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Able to manage projects sales and product development
  • High adaptability, flexible and able to adapt to new strategic plans and new roles given
  • Knowledge in industrial packaging an added advantage
  • Possess class 3 driving license with own vehicle
