Responsibilities

• Source and purchase goods for direct and indirect materials based on MRP requirements and forecast.
• Issue PO to supplier at the right MOQ and price with sufficient lead-time. Follow up till delivery.
• Source new qualified supplier according to customer specification and drawings
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve quarterly cost reduction, best quotations, lead time and payment terms
• Manage and liaise with suppliers, QA and warehouse personnel on deliveries, LRN, reject, replacement, quality issue etc
• Maintain purchase files, records and control for all purchases orders as well as requisitions in system

Requirements

• Diploma in Purchasing Management / Supply Chain Management
• At least 2 years’ relevant working experience in manufacturing environment and MRP system
• Familiar with SAP and Microsoft Office, Excel, eg. vlookup, pivot etc
