Inventory Team Leader
Job Description
Job Summary:
The Inventory Team Leader is responsible for managing all inventory control related activites. Execute inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes stock holding and maximizes stock system and paperwork accuracy
General Functions
Manages and control inventory stock counting/inventory accuracy checks
Minimizes overstocks and removal of obsolete/redundant raw materials to maximize availability of working capital
Ensures that goods inward/stock control department is well organized and controlled to sufficiently support production and the goals of the business
Ensures incoming good is received and managed accordingly
Ensures that goods are readily availablefor production when needed
Provides warehouse information on inventory performace
Implements process improvements to maintain inventory accuracy, minimize cost and maximize working capital
Write and maintain accurate procedures for all main inventory control process and functions
Be responsible for managing and running planned stock takes
Performs cyclic stock check
Ensures integrity and accuracy of the stock management system
Provides daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies are addressed and resolved
Manages control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved
Complies to Good Warehousing Practices
Performs other duties and documentations assigned by immediate head from time to time
Job Specification
College Graduate of any four-year course
Exposure to diverse Supply Chain Business
Computer literate
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Applications
Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality
With keen attention to details
