Job Summary:

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse and analytics architecture to meet an enterprise's business analysis and reporting needs.

Plans and Maps out the architecture and the structure of the data warehouse

Determines the technologies and methodologies best suited for catering data warehouse requests including dashboards, reports, and data extracts

Works with the Data Warehouse Optimization Specialist to establish a robust and optimized data warehouse

Creates and maintains standardization documents on data extract, loading, and transformation; this responsibility also includes data coding standards, data governance practices, data security regulations etc.

Figures out how data is handled to avoid duplication and slowed down processing

Identifies DB objects that can be removed / dropped to help maintain disk space consumption

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Engineering, or other analytical field

2-5 years of experience managing/building a data warehouse solution

Experience working with data warehousing concepts, terminology and architecture

Remarkable experience with technologies such as SQL Server 2008, as well as with newer ones like SSIS and stored procedures

Exceptional experience developing codes, testing for quality assurance, administering RDBMS, and monitoring of database

High proficiency in dimensional modeling techniques and their applications

Strong analytical, consultative, and communication skills; as well as the ability to make good judgment and work with both technical and business personnel builders, and other reporting and analytical tools

Remarkable experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud computing platforms

Multi-dimensional design and implementation experience

Experience with Big Data analytics preferred

Advanced MSSQL knowledge a plus.

Experience with other Data Integration platforms such as SSIS, Informatica Power Center, IBM DataStage a plus
