Responsibilities:

• Administration of the Kubernetes environment through Incident Ticket handling and troubleshooting.
• Designing and implementing solutions to leverage a Kubernetes cluster, hardware configuration, peripherals, and related services.
• Monitoring and manage settings and optimize deployments.
• Perform migration of customer clusters to new infrastructure platform.
• Perform setup and onboarding of new customers.
• Additionally undertake duties of researching opportunities for automation and collaborate with other DevOps colleagues.
• Research and evaluation of alternative solutions and recommend implementations.
• Work with team members to estimate timelines, define project plans, and delegate tasks.
• Ensure that expected performance levels are achieved.
• Work with Technical Architect to realize technical concept.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Hands-on in Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, Google).
• Hands-on experience Linux (Debian).
• Hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Kubermatic and Docker Swarm.
• Hands-on experience in Openshift.
• Hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, Git).
• Good to have, Microfocus Service Manager and Openstack experiences.
• Good to have, Scripting knowledge such as Bash or Python.
• Solid analytical, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written in English) skills.
• Oral and written communication skills are key, especially when dealing with our customers and project team members.
