Responsibilities: 

•  Building web educational content software, for teachers and students using Django and Angular 
• Develop API's and web components with collaboration with the other teams 
• Participate in peer code reviews. 
• Provide technical design expertise to application and delivery teams 
• Implement a state of the art platform to enable our customers to gain a faster time to market 
• Ensure lifecycle management consists of documentation such as test cases, source code repositories 
• Interact with customers and/or functional peer group managers 
• Perform other duties as assigned or required 

Competencies: 

• Full-Stack development 
• Must know the way around: Python in Web Apps environment 
• Advanced understanding of developing, preferably with AWS / Azure/ Google Cloud Platform 
• Advanced understanding of container implementation (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes) 
• Proficient in the following: Python or Go (Web Framework, Serverless etc) 
• Expertise in Integration / Deployment practice, tooling, and techniques, change to adopt Cl/CD practices (lira, Confluence, BitBucket, Git; Jenkins, Artifactory, Terraform, Packer, Rundeck, Ansible, AWS, ELK, AppDynamics) 
• Experience with at least one type of infrastructure as code product (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Bosh) 
• Experience and demonstrable accomplishments as a DevOps engineer
