Reporting To:  Chief Executive Officer

Overall Responsibilities This is an executive-level position whose occupant is responsible for the commercial strategy and development of the company. The responsibilities for the role will involve activities relating to marketing, sales, product development, and customer service to drive business growth and market share.

The CCO is primarily concerned with ensuring the integrated commercial success of the organization. The role will require a combination of strong technical knowledge of the field of Software development with strong marketing and business development skills.

The CCO will take ownership of the customer and the customer interface with the company’s product and service offering, making sure that all functions of the organization are aligned to meet its strategic commercial objectives.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

- Deliver strategic and operative leadership for the Sales, Marketing, PR and Customer Success team in pursuit of the company’s overall business goals.

- Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans and forecasts for defining the commercial path to growth and profitability of the company

-  Develop and manage sales & marketing operating budgets and sales strategies across key market segments to ensure that the company identifies and optimizes a clear path to aggressive growth

- Ensure effective control of marketing results, and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated targets and budgets.                                                                                                        -  Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities

Minimum requirements: 

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field

- Past experience as a CCO or Commercial Director

- Proven experience in sales and client relationship management

- Experience in market research and analysis

- Knowledge of budgeting processes and performance reporting

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Skills in strategic and business planning would be important

-  Must be a self-starter who is detail-oriented and well-organized
