Role Summary:
The project manager is fully accountable for the successful execution of the project, or contract throughout the project lifecycle. Their key drivers are customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, and project profitability. They are responsible for adhering to and implementing the Project Management Office Framework procedures for executing their projects. They are the key point of contact for the customer’s project execution team.The project manager must maintain a positive customer experience while looking for opportunities to improve the projects financial performance. The project manager is an individual contributor position, who reports directly to the plant program manager.

- Single point of contact for project, purchaser order, or scope of work
- Sets pace and agenda for the project team
- Seek out points of contact or resources required to optimally execute the project
- Through clear and proactive communications, establish strong client relationships which exemplify Flowserve’s Purpose, Values, and Behaviors as well as manages customer expectations
- Develop relationships with project teams members, while fostering a relationship between the project team and functional groups
- Identifies and manage the risks, changes in scope of work and implement lessons learned and best practices
- Accountable for project’s financial performance and updating relevant stakeholders
- Ensures timely submission of documentation, identify and record changes in the project scope, and negotiate variation orders for customer driven changes.
- Execute the project within the time and expectations of the contract and specifications. Identify problem areas, evaluate and initiate corrective action to prevent delays or cost overruns
Preferred Experience / Skills: Preferred Experience / Skills
- Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Good/Fluent English
- Good Computer skill
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and to manage project
- Good communication skills
