Responsibilities
- Plan stability, ensure that Wood construction programmes are produced and monitored in accordance with the requirements of the contract execution plan
- Setting up performance management and review progress and monitor programmes, updating the latter, when necessary, in conjunction with the Construction Lead including correct time writing and accurate reporting of plan vs actual
- Strive to obtain maximum productivity and economical use of labor and equipment in order to keep costs within budget
- Ensure that all Company systems of Quality Assurance are adhered to and lead the offshore quality team to complete all ITR’s and MC’s as per the project schedule.
- Responsible for Managing the day offshore, set expectations on galley times, rules for breaks, meeting control, overtime strategy, establish Rota and shift patterns
- Ensure permit issuing efficiency, coordinate with operations tea for permit office opening times.
Skills / Qualifications Qualifications (Essential):
- HNC in a related Engineering subject with recognized O&G discipline background
- Fully conversant with Project Management Systems with extensive knowledge of Project Hook Up / Construction / Commissioning practices and procedures
- IT Literate (Excel / Word / PowerPoint etc.) with experience in Completions Management Databases
- BOSIET / Approved Offshore Medical - essential for an offshore role. Wood mandatory training, induction, risk awareness, etc.
- Demonstrable experience in similar role or Senior position in Offshore Construction Management
- Delivery focused with proven experience in achieving project goals whilst maintain high standards in HSEQ always
- Extensive knowledge of the construction process, its implementation and management. Fully conversant with project management tools
- Experienced in the production of detailed procedures / documents / reports
- Experienced in the management of personnel and all aspects of team working
- Extensive knowledge of O&G related HSEQ safe working practices / procedures
- Ability to deliver training to personnel within the construction team - commitment to develop team members
- Ability to interface and interact with Management and Client Representatives at all levels. Ability to work both at project and corporate levels
- Experienced in Marine coordination / management activities
- Experienced in managing third party service providers (scaffolding, painting, abseiling etc.)
- Experienced in earned value contracts / contract environment
- Offshore experience in similar role
Qualifications (Preferred):
- Good Rejuvenation and Brownfield project experience
- Experienced in Corrective Maintenance & Modifications execution
- Managed resources in an EPC environment with marine support management interfaces
- Working knowledge of Shell’s DEPs and SAP CMMS System
- Demonstrated ability to manage, interface and communicate well at all levels
- Proven track record of building teams with different backgrounds and value diverse thinking
- Good written and verbal communication skills
