Responsibilities To be conversant with HS&E plan and to implement the HS&E procedures ensuring the health and safety of personnel

• Directly responsible to company site representative on all engineering planning, commissioning, materials and all other technical services essential to support the construction activities at the offshore worksite.
• Needs to ensure that the details included in the TA/NTA Plan are fully understood and properly applied by the Construction personnel and that all the project preparation made by the project/planning team is in order.
• Will work in close liaison with the company site representative and the Construction Superintendent to advise on the technical aspects of the project.
• Coordinates any requests from Construction Superintendent or any resources required by his subordinates.
• Liaise with project/planning and commissioning team and relevant company personnel for all design, planning, materials commissioning problems that may arise.
• Required to review project planning with a view to improve on the completion date, if possible, during implementation. Person shall always know the current progress of the project with respect to planning and be able to give details of why a project is ahead/behind schedule at all times.
• Assess effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personnel and team performances
• Ensure that constructability is inherent within the design by being involved at the early stage of work scope and work pack compilation / development in accordance with company and project policies and procedures
• Actively participate in all company and project safety initiatives
• Monitor ongoing activities with regards to completion dates

Skills / Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in an appropriate Engineering Discipline
• Demonstrable experience in similar role
• IT Literate (all major software packages e.g.: Excel, Word).
• BOSIET / Approved Offshore Medical
