YOUR TASKS

• Guarantee the seamless availability of our Database portfolio in a complex and dynamic environment. Providing and supporting services on a global scale, while adhering to technical standards and strict DHL security guidelines.
• Execute tasks involved in installing and maintaining SQL Databases located at DHL Aviation Data Centers. This in order to provide global customers a fully operational environment for the hosted business applications at the highest availability rate.
• Follow up backup and restore procedures.
• Control the implementation of SQL Database backend services to ensure that business requirements can be met throughout short and longer term.
• Document all implementation processes & administration tasks.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Knowledge of MS SQL Databases.
• Awareness of security standards.
• Awareness of MS Scom is an asset.
• You have good communication and planning skills.
• You are fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Fluent Dutch is an asset.
