1. JOB PURPOSE 
The Project Planning Manager position is responsible to successfully plan, manage, execute, complete and handover multiple projects related to energy efficiency, energy performance contracts and retrofits for large projects, high rise towers, and other commercial facilities. The key responsibilities include ensure timely completion of project within approved budgets on cost, resources without compromising on Quality & Safety using internal staffs. Delivery of high-quality, turn-key energy efficiency and renewable energy projects both in office, and on site. 
2. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
  1. Plan, organize, and participate in implementing building upgrades as part of energy performance contracting projects
  2. Define project scope and perform project estimates
  3. Ensure project estimates are accurate and the project scope is executable within the budget - Prepare technical site visit and progress update reports 
  4. Prepare project implementation schedules
  5. Communicate project, and package updates to engineering team and management 
  6. Review on BOQs and invoices for accuracy and completion - Prepare project and installation cost estimates 
  7. Create project organization charts and contact lists 
  8. Coordinate with clients on project documentation, health and safety requirements 
  9. Perform risk assessment
  10. Review submitted consultant and contractor proposals and submissions 
  11. Provide constant communication and project progress reports to clients and management team 
  12. Oversee various project consultants, contractors and internal staff during design, specification, bid, installation and management phases
  13. Manage approvals, completion of work and payment of project consultants and contractors
  14. Make site visits to verify and confirm project equipment performance and operation
  15. Work directly with client, facilities management team and client appointed personnel to communicate, train and maintain new and existing equipment/tool in the project
  16. Research and identify industry and market best practices and techniques to implement into projects 
  17. Identify latest technology, tools, processes and practices to help teams and clients deliver more efficiently
  18. Support growth and strength of the company culture and structure to ensure a happy, collaborative, open and enjoyable company
  19. Maintain organized project files and information for reporting to client, invoicing and company performance in company standards and format 
  20. Attending regular meetings ( on work progress, coordination, design, etc. ) with Main Contractor and Consultant to discuss key issues related to the project and take effective corrective actions 
  21. Monitor project budgets and schedule and oversee performance to ensure on time, quality and on budget project execution 
  22. Coordinate with the engineering design team on all aspects of the design 
  23. Prepare periodic reports for management including status of budgets, variance/change claims, schedules, disputes, up-coming activities & safety records 
  24. Ensure all technical aspects of the projects are strictly complied with and in conformity with Conditions of Contract, Particular Specifications, General Specifications, Contract Drawings & BOQ 
  25. Ensure that the health and safety requirements are provided and that they comply with authorities regulations
  26. Provides guidance, managerial, technical support to complete project team 
  27. Prepare program master schedule and performs critical path analysis 
  28. Prepare plans and schedules, status reports and performance evaluation 
  29. Provide program planning capabilities including interfaces and risks analysis 
  30. Establish and monitor program and project controls KPI's
  31. Ensure program policies and procedures are implemented accordingly 
3. QUALIFICATION AND JOB REQUIREMENT 
  • Prefer engineer’s degree of related field 
  • Have at least 5-year experience in project management level
  • Ability to work in team work 
  • Good knowledge in English both written and verbal communication 
  • Good knowledge of computer applications MS. Office, AutoCAD, Ms. Project, Outlook 
  • Be able to work under pressure and tight timeline
  • Flexible working hour depend on needed 
  • Good relationship skill, interpersonal skill and leadership skill
