This role includes work on a wide range of legal related matters and projects, as well as:
Under supervison of attorneys, creating various amendments and addenda to commercial agreements
Validating paperwork for complete and accurate information
Formatting and finalizing redlines of various legal documents to create execution copies; and liaising and coordinating with local, regional and global counter-parts, and functional and business partners on various issues including cross-border and cross-business activities and projects.
The duties will require excellent command of English language, strong writing skills, initiative, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to escalate problems.
2+ years relevant experience with legal and related documents (legal background is a plus, but not required) .
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word (emphasis on formatting documents and using Macros), as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work in a cross-functional, cross-jurisdiction, team to achieve common goals.
Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task while managing priorities effectively under tight deadlines to meet business needs and goals.
Good judgment, creativity and common sense (e.g. knowing when to consult with an attorney).
Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills interacting with peers, colleagues and attorneys.
