A career in our Financial Due Diligence practice, within Deals Transaction Services, will provide you the opportunity to help organisations realise the potential of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and capital markets. In short, we help some of the world's leading companies originate, create, execute, and realise value from deals. Our team assist organisations with both buy side and sell side due
diligence. As part of our team, you'll help us provide both corporate and financial buyers with peace of mind by analysing and validating all the financial, commercial, operational and strategic assumptions being made.

Job Requirements

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business ("BBA") and/or International Studies. MBA's are encouraged, but not required.

Minimum Experience Required: 2 – 3 years of experience in a comparable Financial Consulting role, Accounting or Audit related field, or Business Development role.

Certifications Required: Not applicable, see preferences below (CPA / CA or equivalent license is preferred)

Languages Required: Strong English skills, both written and verbal

Job Preferences

Preferred Knowledge / Skills:

  • Possesses intermediate knowledge of technical accounting areas such as U.S. GAAP, SEC Reporting and IFRS along with the accompanying financial statements, financial ratios and key performance indicators.
  • Possesses basic – intermediate managerial skills including interviewing executive management at target companies, coaching less experienced staff by providing timely feedback, answering questions and guiding activities.
  • Demonstrates abilities and knowledge in assessing a company's quality of earnings, working capital, net debt and cash flows along with other typical financial-based analyses.
  • Possesses intermediate – advanced skills in MS-Office tools (i.e., Excel, Word, Power Point, Power Query & Power Pivot, Power BI) and a basic understanding of other software applications (i.e., Alteryx).
  • Fluent in the English language along with advanced reading and writing comprehension skills.
