Required Skill Set -

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in one or more of the following:

  • Understanding of governance models to support information governance efforts in an enterprise setting, including organizing governance across a 3-line of defense model;
  • Demonstrating experience in a consulting environment supporting client projects
  • Knowledge and experience with at least one major information governance enterprise platform (e.g., Microsoft 365, OpenText, Collibra, Alation, or Informatica);
  • Knowledge and experience with data analysis and enterprise metadata management;
  • Experience working with teams, developing and delivering workshops
  • Experience supporting structured interviews, supporting developing questionnaires, and scheduling interviews
  • Background in data governance frameworks (e.g., DCAM, DAMA);
  • Working as a member of a team implementing Information Governance tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, OpenText, Collibra, Alation, or Informatica) through requirements gathering, building, testing, and production roll-out;
  • Understanding of data privacy, data protection and regulatory aspects of information governance (e.g., data rights framework, contractual requirements, controls framework);
  • Knowledge of data privacy and data protection including applicable regulations and the handling of sensitive information;
  • Understanding of information governance and data lifecycle management, including records management;
  • Understanding of information architecture design, including metadata management;
  • Assist with project planning and the successful completion of engagement work streams;
  • Demonstrate documentation and presentation skills.
