What it's like to work here

Reporting to our Regional Director and a member of the regional leadership team, you’ll steer a distinct portfolio of properties as one of four Assistant Directors of Operations in our Midlands and East of England Region. This opportunity is a strategic and operational management role within a complex and multidisciplinary organisation.

Salary ranges from £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, in addition to an impressive benefits package including a health cash plan, contributory pension of up to 10% and flexible working.

What you'll be doing

Influential and inspirational, you’ll enable our portfolios to succeed; making connections, removing barriers and providing support, direction and insight, you’ll create an environment of collaboration, inclusion and enable success.  Highly visible, you’ll set stretching targets to achieve; transforming our land to deliver more for nature, creating inspiring experiences for people at our places, how we are look after them, and the role that urban places play in people’s lives.

Who we're looking for

Please submit your application, considering where you may be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Strong and extensive people and operational leadership skills, applied at a senior level
  • Developing strategic direction and ensuring results are delivered
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, able to develop impactful working partnerships internally and externally
  • A creative approach to problem solving, ability to explore and develop new initiatives to achieve results

We'd also like it if you can call on the following experience:

  • Operational leadership accountability across a geographically dispersed area
  • Direct management of multi-disciplinary teams
  • Managing and sponsoring large projects and project management principles
  • An inclusive and collaborative approach, including coaching across a range of abilities

Due to the breadth of the portfolio, and our region, regular travel is required for this role.
