Direct Report To : Project Director

1. POSITION OVERVIEW: 
A finishing manager is responsible for managing a group of finishing contractors on a project or construction site. Your job duties include making sure the project is finished to customer satisfaction and ensuring all workers adhere to safety standards. You must be available to assist with any final tasks in need of completion. 
2. RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Implementation of daily and weekly programs together with the issue of programs detail to sub-contractors 
  • Attending weekly management team meeting 
  • Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities 
  • Compiling labor allocation sheets 
  • Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site 
  • Co-coordinating and managing subcontractors 
  • Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards 
  • Dealing with all health and safety issues on site 
  • Ability to motivate labourers and sub-contractors 
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: 
  • This position will report directly to project director 
 SUPERVISION EXERCISED: 
  • This position need to manage finishing supervisor, finishing coordinator and other subordinate to work at project site. 
3. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: 
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written 
  • Computer fluency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Good inter-personal skills, must be able to communicate well with staff 
  • Excellent organizational skills, such as time and resource planning 
  • Must be able to prepare and deliver simple training and presentation material 
  • Strong team player, working effectively with all staff members at all levels 
  • Global mindset, pro-active, analytical, problem-solving, paired with a very clear hands-on mentality 
  • Must be self-sufficient (own car), flexible and able to drive around Phnom Penh and in Cambodia to complete site visits where and when required 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 
  • Bachelor’s degree of civil engineer, architecture or equivalent 
  • At least 5 years of experiences with finishing work.  
Working condition 
  • Working time : 8:00am-5:00pm 
  •  Working day : Monday - Saturday (Half day) 
  •  Holiday : Under the National Law
