Report to : Finishing Manager

1. Responsibilities 
  • Supervise and Oversee all day to day activities for finishing contractors on site 
  • Ensure that each project is delivered to the Client at the required quality standards and within agreed timescale 
  • Act as an ambassador for LBL in managing the Client experience throughout construction and handover 
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques 
  • Achieve customer satisfaction expectations Tasks 
  • Make sure that the finishing trades clearly understand the phasing system and progress efficiently through the zones in a planned orderly manner, completing all works as necessary
  • Ensure planned, collaborative co-ordination between the finishing trades as they progress through the phased zones 
  • Attend weekly/Bi-weekly review meetings with the finishing Supervisor to plan, organize and monitor the Finishing trades 
  • Ensure all phased zones are kept clean and tidy and that finished works are protected through to handover
  • Comply with room data sheets, drawings, specifications, workmanship clauses and quality standards, including general standards set by LBL 
  • Work together with the Project Manager to ensure that the project is delivered cost effectively and within budget 
  • Collaborate with the Construction Manager on all matters of progress and the general direction of the project 
  • Assist with the co-ordination and organization of sub-contractors and direct labour force, ensuring the site is ready for incoming trades with daily/weekly reports 
  • Liaise and maintain good relationship with the project team to successfully achieve the Company’s objectives on the project 
 Quality Control: 
  • Work on the preparation of LBL Snagging Sheets for each room which will be issued to all finishing trades and to ensure that all defects are remedied 
  • Ensure the phased zones are complete, cleaned and prepared in readiness for the client snagging
  • Remedy the client snagging schedules in a professional manner
  • Make sure that all client snags are remedied, the building is sparkle cleaned and in complete readiness for handover 
  •  Excellent site presentation – cleanliness, tidiness and protection is paramount 
  • Ensure compliance with room data sheets, drawings, specifications, workmanship clauses and quality standards, including general standards set by LBL 
  • Give assistance to the management of the site office in an efficient manner this includes the filing of all of correspondence, orders, drawings etc. and keeping up to date with reports 
  • Assist with the requisitioning of all goods and materials and transmitting this information to the procurement team, including delivery schedules for bulk orders 
 2. Job Requirements 
  • Education: Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering 
  • At least 5 years proven work experience in construction and management field 
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written 
  • Computer fluency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Good inter-personal skills, must be able to communicate well with staff 
  • Excellent organizational skills, such as time and resource planning 
  • Must be able to prepare and deliver simple training and presentation material 
  • Strong team player, working effectively with all staff members at all levels 
  • Global mindset, pro-active, analytical, problem-solving, paired with a very clear hands-on mentality 
  • Must be self-sufficient (own car), flexible and able to drive around Phnom Penh and in Cambodia to complete site visits where and when required 
Working condition 
  • Working time : 8:00am-5:00pm 
  •  Working day : Monday - Saturday (Half day) 
  •  Holiday : Under the National Law
